​Finishing Touches, situated in The Old Farmhouse at the top of Newland Street, was opened in 2004 by hairdresser, Zoe, and it quickly found its place in Witham’s business community.  Zoe's sister Hayley, a beauty therapist, joined the salon a year later and together they have taken it from strength to strength.
​Today, a dynamic team of 5 (see below) offers a friendly atmosphere and up-to-date styling, but with an ethos of old fashioned values and excellent customer service.  Their wide range of hair and beauty services, using only top quality branded products*, ensures they have a loyal band of regular clients.

Zoe Chivers

Hair Salon Owner/Hairdresser
Zoe qualified from Colchester Institute with full NVQ levels 1, 2 & 3 (she is also qualified in ear piercing) and 2024 marks her 20th year in business! She is very confident within her job and loves a challenge, so if you want something different she may be the stylist for you. Zoe will definitely make you feel comfortable and at home, she loves her job and has an amazing rapport with her clients.

Hayley Jackson

Beauty Salon Owner/Therapist
Hayley also studied at Colchester Institute, completing full NVQ levels 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy.  After 19 years running the salon with her sister, beauty is still one of her biggest passions, especially lashes and nails.  Now a mum of 2, her time is split between her family and work, but she still manages to put in plenty of hours in the salon and loves her job just as much as she always has.

Lisa Rayner

Hairdresser
Lisa has been a part of the Finishing Touches team since 2012. Having also studied at Colchester Institute, she became a fully qualified hairdresser (with NVQ levels 1, 2 & 3 and c24) back in 1993. This friendly and talented lady has so much experience that you can be confident when you make an appointment with her that you will be in great hands.

Kayleigh Pearce

Beauty Therapist
After a couple of years away from the salon, Kayleigh is back where she belongs! Kayleigh offers gel polish for hands and feet, acrylics and some waxing, as well as being qualified to provide builder gel nail extensions - which are already taking the salon by storm. With more than 8 years experience behind her, you will not be disappointed with her work.
